"I received this as a 2006 Christmas gift from my brother and his family. After I made it known in the family that I thought this item looked "great" I was concerned about its ability to make single servings as I live alone. However, my concern did not get passed along and I am so happy that I still got one for Christmas. The cooker makes great single servings - or larger servings as required. There is a convex bottom on the cooking bowl and smaller servings fall off to the edges and are cooked to perfection. Talk about set and forget - you just put in the rice and the water, push the start button and 25 minutes or so later you have perfect rice. I use it almost every day. In the past rice has been "too much trouble" though I love rice. This item is full quality, very useful and priced lower than other cookers I have seen at department stores and in ChinaTown."

I have the PC Mini Wisdom Rice Cooker and works great! cooks rice, soup, steams (with steamer tray).
It's just awesome and works for my family be it white or brown rice. I like its small size to take it on camping and trips.
